ENTERTAINMENT
The entertainment services at Te Vara Nui Village consist of a Village Tour, “Ura Po’ Dinner and Night Show and the Combo Extravaganza. The Village Tour consists of 8 huts with the local Maori people sharing their historical stories, knowledge and heritage with guests. Light refreshments can be enjoyed by the guests during the Tour.
The ‘Ura Po’ Dinner and Show is set amongst luscious gardens and peaceful water features whilst Raratonga’s finest dancers and musicians perform on floating and fixed stages. The ‘Ura Po’ dances of legends cultural performance will blow guests away! Whilst watching this spectacular show, enjoy the delicious traditional island night buffet, revealing Local Island tastes from our world class Umukai (traditional feast) and experience the culinary skills of the local and international chefs. This spectacular setting and performance is guaranteed to lift the hairs on the back of your neck!
The Combo Extravaganza is a combination of both the Village Tour and the ‘Ura Po’ Dinner and Show. For those who thrive off culture and entertainment, this Combo Extravaganza is not to be missed. Te Vara Nui Village offer complimentary hotel transfers, allowing guests to relax, enjoy and feast!
FUNCTIONS
Corporate or private functions can be beautiful or professional at Te Vara Nui Village. Our restaurants (3) cater from 20-250 seated guests and up to 300 guests for a cocktail function. Te Vara Nui Village can deliver an excellent backdrop for you to achieve desirable goals – whether networking, laughing a new product, cocktail party, client entertainment, Christmas parties, or just a special day with family and friends. We have a series of tantalising menus including canapés, set menus and buffets created by our local and international chefs. Alternatively, you can create your own personal menu to match your requirements. Several dining entertainment options are available and can be set up for speeches, DJ’s, live entertainment and more. Furthermore, if you want to achieve a ‘wow’ factor, VIP guests can arrive in traditional style by Vaka – (a canoe) with warriors and maidens sending a ‘Turou’ welcome as they arrive.
