THE RESORT
Qamea Resort and Spa is an intimate all beachfront luxury boutique property catering to a maximum of 34 adults, set amidst 100 acres of lush tropical landscaped gardens, bush land, and jagged volcanic South Pacific mountains that soar behind the property.
After an easy 20 minute drive via private vehicle from Taveuni Airport, followed by an 8 minute boat crossing, you will find yourself on a private white sand beach over a kilometre in length, known as the most spectacular in Fiji’s northern island group.

THE ROOMS
All of the 17 luxuriously appointed traditional Fijian style thatched-roof bures and villas are beachfront, fully air-conditioned, and feature large covered decks and open-air river rock courtyard showers, mini-bar fridge and tea and French press coffee making facilities. The accommodation is spacious, ranging in size from 650 – 1,800 sq/ft, with soaring ceilings, polished local mahogany hardwood floors, and four poster canopy beds.
Eleven Beachfront Bures are positioned for maximum privacy, such that when you are taking in the views of the beach and lagoon from your covered deck, your privacy is not compromised.
Each of the Honeymoon Bures feature a private garden courtyard with an enticing natural stone Jacuzzi spa pool. One of the many unique features of the Honeymoon Bures is a covered day bed off the beachside deck.
The Premium Villas with private pools are situated at the far end of our white sand beach, affording maximum privacy and seclusion from the rest of the resort. In addition, they each have a stereo system, i-Pod docking station, and 42” flat screen television with a DVD player. One of the many highlights of the Premium Villas is their large covered decks that extend to the beach with expansive views of Qamea’s pristine lagoon and romantic sunsets.
Also offered is a split level 1,200 square foot Honeymoon Villa. This is a stunning split-level villa and boasts a private outdoor courtyard with shower and jacuzzi spa bath.
THE SERVICES
Qamea and her neighbouring islands offer a tropical paradise of adventure and beauty.
Guests can avail themselves of a wide range of activities ranging from incredible snorkelling just off the resort that has been named as one of the top ten resort snorkel reefs in the world, hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, croquet, visiting one of the local villages, catered picnic lunches at cascading jungle waterfalls to invigorating coastal and mountain hikes – you will certainly not need to look far for something exciting and adventurous to do.
During your stay, take time to unwind and delight your senses with treatments in our Jungle Spa, the only Guinot spa in the South Pacific, consisting of five individual treatment villas and a relaxation villa all nestled under the jungle canopy on the side of a mountain.
Our diving is world renowned, and with a fully equipped PADI dive facility our diving staff can introduce you to an underwater adventure you will long remember.
In the evenings you can choose to mingle with other guests in our bar prior to your evening three course gourmet meal, or arrange a private candlelit romantic dinner on the beach or on the deck of your bure. Each evening the Qamea Band Boys will entertain you, and weekly entertainment includes a Kava Ceremony, Meke, and Sunday hosted wine tasting.
THE ROMANCE
Qamea is romance defined. Reserve a romantic afternoon on honeymoon beach – a totally private beach just minutes from our resort. You will be whisked away by boat and dropped off on the beach with a picnic lunch and some snorkel gear. Let us know when you want to return and we will pick you up later in the day. Our Fijian chef will pack a picnic lunch and a bottle of champagne or wine, and a boat will ferry you over to this most romantic of beaches.
After a relaxing day on a private beach or active day of hiking the Bouma Waterfalls, book a romantic couples massage or spa treatment in our unique and luxurious Jungle Spa, or for the ultimate in romance, book in advance the Qamea Jungle Spa Night of Decadence – where the entire spa will be yours for the evening.
