Meet the WRD team

Fiona Wozney Managing Director	With over 20 years of Global experience Fiona brings commitment, passion and a can do attitude to every aspect of her role. A must win drive is evident to the partners she works with and resorts she works for. Her strengths are contract negotiating, collaborative marketing, close travel trade relationships, sales and marketing budget management and writing sales & marketing plans. Fiona develops creative customised marketing strategies that work for small to medium unique and boutique properties, with a focus purely on the success of the resort and nothing less.
Tess Willcox Senior Account Manager	Growing up in Margaret River, Western Australia, tourism has been instilled in Tess’ blood since a very young age. She is a natural nomad and the office Greenie! Relocating to the East Coast after completing a Communications Degree majoring in Journalism and Public Relations, Tess was taken on as the new recruit for World Resorts of Distinction in 2004. Working her way up the corporate ladder, 9 years on Tess brings a relaxed yet determined and dedicated nature to the business, with expertise in areas of brand marketing, strategic marketing, social media, creative writing and branding. Tess’s paramount focus is to continually build exceptional relationships with both clients and trade partners.
Narelle Langton Account Manager	Narelle has had years of experience in resort operations, reservations and customer service, she has a passion for delivering unforgettable holiday experiences and moulding wonderful partnerships.With a BA in Business majoring in Tourism Management, a Diploma in Marketing & Product Development and a Diploma in Tourism Operations systems, Narelle’s education coupled with her dedication to exceed client expectations are a great recipe for success. Born and raised in Fiji Narelle has an innate drive to build and strengthen ties between WRD’s key markets and the South Pacific region while always bringing her infectious South Pacific charm to the job.
Poehere Bettany Design Extraordinaire	Poehere Bettany completed her degree in Business with a double major in Marketing and Event Management at Griffith University Gold Coast, she then went on to further her passion for design and computers acing a Diploma of Graphic Design. Her strong commitment to brand and wonder flare are key to her success in developing effective print and visual media for our clients. Originally from Tahiti French Polynesia, Poehere is fluent in French and has a great understanding of the South Pacific way of life.
Luke Jones Business Development Manager for North America	With over 15 years of experience in tourism marketing and management, Luke is a specialist in destination development through the implementation of effective sales and marketing programs. Luke has spent the last decade based in North America, building Tourism Australia’s industry recognized distribution programs, including the Aussie Specialist Program and Retail Consortia partnerships. Luke’s experience covers the full spectrum of tourism management and marketing, from consumer communications, distribution development, MICE, and partnership building with Government and commercial sector interests.
Andrea Stowers NZ Business Development Manager	With 15 years of travel industry experience and her passion for travel, Andrea Stowers brings a wealth of knowledge to WRD. Along with her strong marketing experience, strategic development initiatives and product development skills, Andrea has the edge and desire which achieve results with the upmost care & attention. With her down to earth personality, building strong relationships comes naturally, she enjoys nurturing and developing relationships to support the very best outcome for everyone.
